The Trip

Dear Blog,

Just got back from a not-jungle-not-paradise-no-phone-line camp. Librarian's Camp. I dare say i'm quite adapt to the way scouts camp for the past 4 years. The words "pack light" always come to mind. So when i went for this motivation camp in Kalumpang for 3 days 2 nights..and someone brings a hairdryer?? My jaw was not only wide open for flies..but it dropped out, rolled on the ground and sprinted into unbelievable speed.

The activities were good and we are now (we better be) highly motivated. One of them was the Amazing Race. It was exactly like it...to get the question to your first destination, you have to answer a quiz. Everyone looked so intense while i m pretty sure i looked worried..secretly praying they wont ask me anything about the politics like name the menteri besar of the states. Took a breathe and I Opened the first sms. First question: Who s the captain of Spain in the current World Cup Final...crap..Darn my lack of knowledge for football. Thankfully we were allowed a phone. So dial lorr...dialed all the football fanatics i know. But nope. God forbid this activity to be easy. They all didnt pick up!!! sigh...so called the next person i know who would be online.."hey jie..." and then we were on our way. Just because our age ranges from 13-17..i feel good that they didnt go easy on us..you know? xp From the first destination to the next..it was about 5km! And we would have to find our own transport to get back or else you would have to walk.

And as for a souvenir, a monkey kissed me.

Honestly i didn't learn anything i don't already know. It reminded me why i always liked librarians though =) I feel comfortable..at ease. Or maybe i just like being incharge. But thats a whole different story
